Hyderabad: Badruka Educational Society on Wednesday inaugurated the Badruka School of Management (BSM) in the city, with an aim to ‘fill the void in top-tier management education in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh’. Despite four management institutions from the South in the top 25 rankings of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), none hail from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, the institution pointed out.
BSM is set to commence the AICTE-approved 2-year post-graduate diploma in management (PGDBM) in August at its 14-acre campus in Medchal district.
Beyond conventional academics, BSM emphasises ethical leadership and sustainability, BES secretary Srikishan Badruka said. He added that the curriculum was tailored to meet the dynamic industry demands, with leading academic and industry experts guiding students, helping them contribute to sustainable progress in the thriving business landscape of Hyderabad.
Admissions are currently open for the inaugural batch. The new-age multidisciplinary curriculum at BSM merges core management principles with modules tailored to emerging industry demands, including in entrepreneurship, design thinking, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and sustainable business, ensuring students possess versatile skill sets for the contemporary workplace, along with specialised tracks in the second year: finance, marketing, strategy, data analytics & digital technologies, innovation & entrepreneurship.
The School has integrated eco-friendly practices on campus, featuring a meditation centre where students can unwind and connect with nature, along with initiatives like waste management and solar panelling.
