Shagufta Kamran is the Director and Head of Government & Public Affairs, India and ASEAN at Koch Industries. She is responsible for Koch’s engagement with the government, industry and academia for all of Koch Group companies in the region.
Prior to her role at Koch, Shagufta was the Director of Public Policy at Twitter India and led Twitter’s thought leadership on policy matters such as intermediary protection, net neutrality, privacy and data protection. Shagufta has over 16+ years of experience in delivering advisory services and leading key initiatives encompassing public policy, business strategy and technology. She has been associated with reputed organisations such as Intel Technologies, US India Strategic Partnership Forum, Manufacturer’s Association for Information Technology (MAIT) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
